You see, I've applied for May 2014 graduation and have been waiting impatiently from my school as to whether I've "officially" graduated from college as an undergrad. Tried calling last Friday but their office was closed. I called them this morning and finally got through to someone in the Registrar's office. When I relayed my concern, they told me that your major actually sends the degree to the Registrar's office (which didn't make any sense to me at all).
Coincidentally, in the afternoon I had received an email from advisement telling me that I hadn't completed some courses (Speech 101, Foreign Language and missing paperwork) and wouldn't graduate. I have a copy of said paperwork that was submitted to them, the two courses I know were fulfilled. What's maddening is that I've seen my advisor (who I think was the same person that sent me the depressing piece of news today) and she said everything was in order...
I feel like I can't really move on, til I have this piece of paper. I feel like, why can't anything in my life be easy? I mean, I see other students graduating with ease. I will visit their office tomorrow and check. No use whining about it now.
